Blade Wobble
Have a Schrade 'Old Timer'. USA 250 T. Main blade has slight wobble. Second blade tight. Any way to eliminate wobble in main blade? Thanks.

Re: Blade Wobble
Milwood. if your familiar with dis-assembly of a knife and the re-assembly of it, you could put a new pivot pin in and that may help if it is the pin that's worn and not the pivot pin hole in the blade that's worn. If your not familiar with dis-assembly and re-assembly of a knife, you could try contacting some of the AAPK members here that do that type of work. Orvet, Elvis, and Muskratman are a couple of members that come to mind just off the top of my head but there are a few more here that can do it too I'm sure. They can even fix it if it's the pivot pin hole that has became oversized from use by use of a bushing being placed in the pin hole, or by an over sized pivot pin replacement. I'm not sure how fast they can get to your knife to fix it as I think they stay pretty covered up with knife work but, you may be able to get on their waiting list. Good luck and I hope you get it fixed.

Re: Blade Wobble
Aimus: Thank you for your response. Very detailed and to the point. I will follow up on your suggestions to contact a person familiar with working on knives. Found knife buried in mud while on a fishing trip and it has become one of my favorites. Appreciated.
