Need help on old Schrade? switchblade knife...
Looking for some info and possible value on this knife. I believe it is a schrade, but the tang stamp is worn, but the patent numbers all match other schrades. It is double ended, knife on one end, file on the other. Blades are worn and have some rust, one side has a crack in the handle material (what kind of material). Both Springs work, but do not open all the way most of the time. The file opens most of the way and sometimes all the way. Knife only opens about halfway. Knife is 3 3/8" closed.

Welcome to AAPK!
Nice one!
The man who can tell you about it is Rich Langston, aka; lt632ret.
You can send LT a PM from one of his posts here in this thread: http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kni ... 35&t=20159
To fix the sticky blades you need some Quick Release oil. This stuff is amazing! It works on switchblades and slipjoint knives, anything that needs to be lubed!

Your knife is a Schrade ( I believe Cut Co this signifies pre 46 ) it is or should be 3,3/8" long closed. The handle is celluloid. Condition for the knife is average actually poor. The cell is cracked the knife needs work and the blades are down. In this condition 35 to 75 dollars would be RETAIL. If the cell was not split 100 to maybe 125. I could look up the model number if it is important. this style is called a tipper because it has two small bolsters they came without bolster or with full ones. Sorry I cannot give you better news.
