Great old knives, Knifegirl! I love the Schrade. With the right blades that would be even an ultracool forum knife! We won't be seeing any new bone that nice, I don't think, anytime soon.

Gino-If I remember the listing you got a pretty good deal on the Noxin. I was going to bid on it but I didn't know anything about Noxin so I passed but that bone sure is pretty.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
BG I paid way to much for the Noxin. it was from a guy that I have got a few deals from and he wanted too much for it but I figured I would keep the relationship going for it.
Here is the knife if any one is wondering what we are talkin about.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
The one that sold recently went for $10 and it has FETTKOTTER OSNABRUCK on it. I didn't look at the date of you original post and I thought this was the one you got hence my comment about a good deal. I am really looking forward to posting my pictures but I can't figure out what the problem is. I am not computer challenged and I've tried putting the pics in different locations to try and load it from but no luck. I'm sure I'll get it figured out just not soon enough for me.gino wrote:BG I paid way to much for the Noxin. it was from a guy that I have got a few deals from and he wanted too much for it but I figured I would keep the relationship going for it.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Nice find Zed!
I like the bottom one.
Are those both shell handle construction?
I have never seen a shell like that with a corkscrew.
Pretty sweet.
Thanks for sharing. You guys get some cool knives over there.

TY TRiver.
Does anyone know if the tang stamps are read the same on the Bowie's.
I see Case XX USA and no dots. Is this a 1965-69 then? I saw they were
produced from 1965 or so thru 1990ish. Disnt see this knife in my only 2 books.
The little Browning is a RMEF (RockyMtnElkFoundation) knife, Taiwan though.....

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Great finds Zed and TC. Those are sweet!!!
Here is the knife that got me started on collecting 30 years ago or so. I just never got around to showing it. I had a few knives of my own but this is the first one I bought that started me collecting. Its not a valuable knife (money wise) but its priceless to me. Its just an old 3 blade silver cracked ice Ideal. You dont see many of this brand with this blade combo.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Celluloid has its disadvantages, alright, but some of it is certainly very beautiful. Seems like I read that Hen & Rooster was one of the last manufacturers to use it, and I don't think anyone does now. Have you seen some of the acrylic that GEC uses? Some is very nice indeed. That cracked ice you showed is much brighter and lighter than most I have seen. Pretty nice.

Nice looking knife Gino.I think the blade with the radius cut out of the top is a can opener.
