Imperial pocket knife???

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Imperial pocket knife???

Post by rarreola »

Hi everyone:

I bought this in a lot of pocket knifes, looks like Imperial but there is no mark on tang.
Just the Imperial Crown logo.
lenght closed = 3.25"

Could it be Imperial?
if so, production date and steel material ( looks like 1095)?
walk & talk like brand new.

TIA

That round shield with the crown is an Imperial marking for sure. Very unique blade selection. Is it a single spring?

That's a nice clean knife. I like both of those blades.

That knife is an altered stockman with the main blade and spring removed!!!
Note the "extra" liner!
