Howdy from another Kentuckian

Post by gruntmedik »

Howdy from the Louisville area. I'm a Flight Paramedic and former United States Marine. I've had a recent reinterest in traditional knives, and happened upon here due to that. I'm am equal opportunity knifeaholic, ranging from SAK's to Khukuri's, but have turned my focus to the traditional folders--maybe due to the fact that I'm a new papaw. Looking forward to learning and expanding my collection.

Welcome to AAPK.

Can I assume from your user name that you were an 0311? Ya know, you just can't have a good war without the Snuffy's.

The fella I joined the Corps with on the buddy plan lives out on the far South West side of Louisville. Valley Station area.

::welcome:: to AAPK.

Glad to have you join us here. You will find the Bluegrass State well represented on AAPK. Make yourself at home and ask questions, post pictures, and learn about knives. It's a fun place to hang out for us knifers.

03xx - same-o, same-o - Everybody walks

I think Sgt. Grit should make up a new patch. "03xx - Black Cadillac Motor Transport Battalion"

When the Senior was calling out names and MOS's on the last day of boot camp, I was praying. "Please God don't say 0300. Please God don't say 0300" It's one of the few times in my life that God answered my prayers. :shock: :)
