i have a vintage sur snap clonial pocket knife that has been taken apart i need to know how to put spring back in[album][/album]

We need a clearer picture. The spring in your picture doesn't look like the spring for a Shur-Snap. To replace the factory spring, you need to remove the pins holding the knife together. The spring fits under a little tit in the side of the liner. Some Shur-Snaps have a cross pin holding the spring. In this case you can replace spring without furthur disassembley. Hope this helps.
