New ballcap for work

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Great idea Willie!I have a few good ones but they likely wouldn't get by the censors here.One was done up by a friend of mine for a motorcycle poker run in his brother's memory.He bought 50 ball caps and had the generic word for "rectal cavity" embroidered across the front.Sold 'em all out in two hours at 10 bucks a pop.
Another one a friend gave me has a representation of an extended central digit.
Where did you get that one? I might have to spring for one of those.

GOT that right. I've got a cabinet full of stuff that they gave me and I ain't taking it, INCLUDING fluoxetine ( PROZAC).

I took a few of 'em just so I could tell the shrink, I was taking them with a straight face. ;)

I'm thinking the way they throw s... like that around, that they want us to be a bunch of zombies. ::disgust::

Great hat Willie! ::tu::

I will have to add a few pics of my veteran T shirts.
My favorite shirt says:
THIS VIETNAM VETERAN IS HEAVILY MEDICATED FOR YOUR PROTECTION
I like to wear it when I go up to the VA. :mrgreen:

I took one Prozac when they proscribed it to me & threw the rest of the bottle in the garbage!
Nasty stuff!! ::barf::

Willie, that's what I modified for my avatar. The guy that owns the copyright calls himself "Ranger Andy" and runs the "International Society of Dysfunctional Veterans" out of Spring Texas.

I sent an email to him and asked if he would authorize a license for my modified design but never heard a peep out of him.

My VA doc is nothing more than a pill pusher waiting to retire. She also has about as much personality as a stump.

I have seen some of those bureaucratic VA docs, but I have also had some excellent doctors at the Portland, Oregon VA, especially the Orthopedics surgeons. Over 30 years being treated there I have had 4 outstanding surgeons who in addition to being the head of their departments at the VA were also head of their departments at the U of O Medical School. I have had over 15 surgeries there in that time on my hands. Their surgeons are amazing for the most part!

I also had one surgeon who was a total @$$ and not even a good surgeon. I would say he had the personality of a Pit Bull with PMS, but that is not fair to Pits. :mrgreen:
He did a wrist prosthesis (artificial wrist) that never stopped hurting, to the point I asked to have it amputated. He told me there was nothing wrong with it. I went over his head to the Director of Patient Services (I think that was his title) and he sent me to another doctor who fused my left wrist. It won’t move, but it doesn’t hurt as much any more.

The VA is a bureaucracy. While a bureaucracy can do certain things with an acceptable level of effectiveness, providing medical care is not one of them! IMHO
