Ice Fishing
Any of you knifers been out on the ice yet? I went for my very first time ice fishing yesterday, was as much fun as I've ever had. Caught 101 in about 2 hours. Leaving here in a couple hours to go again, to a different pond. Taking the camera when I go, hopefully it wont freeze up!

I use to but I took a 5 gallen bucket to sit on and carry my stuff in.
When that got full of fish then I went home.
Next time I took 2 buckets, one just for the fish.
5 gallens of Blue Gills took time to clean.
When I placed them in the sink they came back to life too.

and post some pics if you can.
I can totally relate to your comment about the only ice around here is in the freezer, but I surely do hope MM shares some pics for us that can't relate...Heck the first time I saw snow I was already 33.

Well, didn't do real good, they were biting ,but we couldn't seem to find the bigguns, and the cold drew charge right out of the batteries after about 1/2 hour. Goin' back out tommorow if the snow'll hold off for a few hours.

- The trail in, the ice strom covered the trees, and with the usn shining through, they looked like they were made of crystal. The camera didn;t capture it well at all
