If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Dog fur?

Post by johnnierotten »

Animal Advocacy Group Says It Finds Coats, Some With Designer Labels, With Fur From Dogs. Most of the fur came from China.Tommy Hillfiger and Andrew Marc were some of the top designers named. ::td:: some had fur from raccoon dogs _ a canine species native to Asia.Heres a pic of the cute little fellers......The Chineese are A$$holes!!

Hey Johnnie,

We raised a baby coon that we saved from a fire and it was a neat experience. But as she got older the wild came out of her and we had to let her go..It was a lot of fun.. :)

Sunburst, I have heard similar stories from others, who say they got mean the older they got.

Of course the Raccoon dog is not related to the coon, they are of the canine family. They only look like a raccoon, hence the name raccoon dog.But in the article I read they didn't talk about any being domesticated. But then again were talking about Asia, were dog is a delicacy...and for them being on the endangered species list, I'm not for sure,I will have to do some more research on them.

Thanks guys

I found out some intriguing stuff about them...They are the only member of the canine family to hibernate. They also have curved claws which enables them to climb...They sound like there more related to bears than dogs...

They are some cool looking animals, heres a pic of 2 adults...They got that Bear,Raccoon,Fox look going on!!
