Show Us Your Camillus Knives!

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

I don't think I posted this when I posted the others. If I did, please forgive a forgetful old man. This was a birthday present either last year or two years ago. Some friends won it in a raffle.

Sweet Jerry. ::tu::
Somewhere I have one like yours with the Catfish Hunter autograph on the blade.
Apparently they made them in several different handles.

There's a whole series. There's a lot of them out there and they usually go for $30-$60 on eBay. Saw a guy had one he wanted almost $200 for. Sent him a message with a link to the closed auctions on them. I'm guessing he didn't appreciate it because he didn't answer. :lol: :lol:

Just picked up this #41 Senator on eBay last weekend. It's here already and I'm pleased as punch with it. Still has the factory edge on the blades and if it weren't for the foxing on the blades, it would be like new. It's a terrific little knife bought at a good price.

Knife not in hand yet, but patiently waiting. WWII Army Air Corps Utility knife. Seller says that the main blade has weak snap, don't see a reason for it unless the sunken spring is the culprit.

Nice one Rob. I really like the French Ivory handles and Camillus as a whole.

Yep, jigged wood on the scales. That's a nice one, glad it went to someone here!

Quality should not be an accident. So what is the explanation for some of the knives we've seen in the past few years? (from A Knifebuyer's Manifesto)

I'm glad you posted it in the wrong place, other wise I most likely wouldn't have had the opportunity to see it. It's a beauty.

Here is a nice little 3-1/4” Camillus lockback I found the other day while cleaning out a box of knife related items. I forgot I had it. I have seen old knives with different shades of bone handles, but it is not often I have seen different color of Delrin scales on newer knives. It must have been made on the morning-after-the-night-before. :lol: :lol:

I love these Camillus cartridge knives! ::tu:: ::tu::
