Introductin

Post by NYRich »

Just wanted to take a few minutes to intrduce myself. As my screen name obviously shows, my name if Rich and I'm from New York City. For whatever reason there seems to be very few knife enthusiasts here. The majority of the posts I've read so far are from people located in the southern states. As I'll be retirning next year and moving to Sarasota, I hope to find a lot more people with an interest in knife collecting.

I became interested in Case products about a year ago and have put together a very modest collection of about a dozen knives. A few peanuts, a few mini trappers and even a small toothpick and Texas jack.

Although it's a little early in the game, I seem to be leaning toward mini-trappers. Their size and weigh make them pocket friendly which is no small thing when working in an office enviroment. In addition, my politics have gotten me interested in patriotic themes so I guess that I do have some idea where I'm headed.

Well, that's it for now. I hope to make some new like-minded friends here so please don't hesitate fo email me.
