Tested xx Case repair
This knife is a 05247JLP Tested xx Case.. (i think), anyways it has 1 broken backspring as u can see in the pics and has no snap left in the other blade. I just love this knife and i have been looking to replace the springs if its possible. I contacted the Case repair dept. and the offered to give me a new knife but couldnt fix it because they didnt have parts. What should i do.. or does anyone have a knife like this that is for parts??? Does anyone know how it could be fixed?
Thanks guys!

Looks like a 5275 SP "Moose" pattern to me.

If you look in this same forum you will see a topic for back springs. You can make a back spring yourself in less than an hour. Really there is nothing to it. I just made another set for a leg knife from an old butcher knife that was just the right thickness.

check him out. I haven't heard a bad review about muskrat man! His work looks very very nice and he is helpful. You can shoot him a private message on here and talk about getting the repair done.
