Couple months ago I took my plastic handled Vernco knife to my 88 year old friends wood shop. We removed the stock plastic handles which come on these Vernco knives and replaced them with some mahogany......

Scott, in my opinion that has made a downright classy looking knife.

Glenn.....where the wood is now was previously covered with black glued-on plastic in the exact shape and size of the wood.
