Just curious -

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

I would need better pictures of the tang on both sides. Also better pictures of the knife on both sides.
I couldn't tell you the value, (others here may be able to) but I could look up approximate date.

Thank you . there is not another marking on the tang , thats it just Kabar on that one side . i will get my wife to take some better pictures with her camera and post them tomorrow .

They used different stamps at different times, but thanks, good pictures would help. I'm out.
