Another one from AAPK stores. My favourite pattern after the barlow, the equal end jack.
Manufactured in 1974 but it arrived in its factory condition box, in its little plastic cover.
Larger and heavier than I expected.
The box says LIMITED EDITION COLLECTORS ITEM but I got it to use. It has never been used, since 1974.
Would it be selfish for an AAPK member to use a collector's item which was made and kept for posterity?

nice knives guys this isnt a knife but i have been hand cleaning and rubbing my knives
so i had been looking for a buffer not big im not making knives just lightly cleaning mine didnt want to spend lotta money so here is what i have found i think it will work just fine and cheap a old shoe buffer think it has the rite speed and every thing for doing this work hope it wil help someone was the find of the day for me goodwill price 4.36 hope this mite help someone

You're right, cato. It's a shoe buffer. I went to work for NCR in 1966 and we had one, a bit more on the commercial grade side, back in the service department to help us stay looking good for the customers. Black side for black shoes, red side for brown and lighter color shoes. Let us know how it works out for your knives. Looks to me like it should do the trick.

This is the other one I found today. It deserved it's own post.
A WWI Schatt & Morgan. Supposedly made for the Canadian troops. Its really nice aside from some pitting and the fact the antiques dealer buffed it. I told him not to ever do that again. I don't care what it looks like. The scales are perfect and it appears hardly used.
