Loving this song right now. I just listened to this about 5 times through. I enjoy the original Merl Haggard version, but Jamey Johnson sure did a great cover at Farm Aid IMO ::nod::

I wish I could find a better audio on this one. Jack Brown band with Amos Lee. Great song IMO... Much better with Amos in tow ::groove::

I'm just a little partial to Outlaw Country and Merle Haggard is a bit of alright. I looked up the version of 'The Way I Am' by Haggard and I think I liked it better.
