5OT with Fat Angry Stag

Post by orvet »

One of my customers in Australia requested fat angry stag handles on a 5OT similar to one I had done several years ago for Randy here on AAPK.

I just got an email that he has received his knife, so I guess I can post pics now. I hate to post pics and have it spoil the surprise before any customer gets their customized knife.

I did add rope filework to the backspring.
I used my new etch for the blade. It is too large for smaller blades, but worked nicely on the 5OT.

Here are the scans of his knife before I shipped out to him.

Dale, someday, 50 years down the road, guys not even born yet will be posting on this forum, all excited because they just found an Orvet Custom.

Those are the kind of handles those knives deserved from the beginning. Nice work.

Beautiful job all round Dale. I am not normally a great fan of file work but this works and works well - very classy!
