Need repair help!
Hey Dale, I have this S & M Whittler that has some loose and seem to be rattlin (meaning they rattle) stag scales. Seems to be on both the pile and mark sides. Is there anything that can be done to repair this knife? Can't really tell from the pictures but you can at least see the knife.

Re: Need repair help!
Perry,
If it were an old knife I would using my stiddy I would tap lightly on the handle pans to see if it would tighten up. If not a quick fix would be to use a special super thin CA glue that I have for getting into tight areas. The correct fix would be to re-pin the stag handles if it is the handles indeed that are rattling.
Since this is not an old knife, but one of recent production that appears to be unused, I would send it back to Queen since they made it. Anything anyone does to that knife, other than Queen, could void your warranty. Unless you just have a real hankering to work on a knife, I would let them take care of that one. The knife should retain its value and warranty.

I'm real partial to S&M and there's nothing I don't like about that one. (well, maybe except for that rattling problem
)
