last night i helped my daughter make her a account i have two sons and a daughter both of my boys dont have any interest in knives but my girl loves knives she helpes me clean my knives once a month and we sit and talk about knives she has a few of her own im going to help her learn how to post pics of the ones she has i am so glad that she has gotten into knives with me she was nerves about making the account but i told her that there are alot of good people here that will help her the best that they can after we got her account done she sit for a couple of hours looking at all the knives and reading and she loved it looking forword to getting her to posting

That's great! My son is 16, and while he appreciates knives and my hobby, he is not "into it".

Because of my father, I always had the knife bug. We've shared some good knife memories together.

I think your daughter will look back years from now and count this time as a great memory that you two shared together. ::tu::

thanks guys my daughter will be 18 in july she got to liking knives when she was about 12. for christmas one year i got my boys a knife and her something else girley stuff and she asked me why i didnt get her one so the next christmas when she was 13 i got her one and she fell in love with it from that time on she started helping me with my knives and asking questions every time i go to the flea market she has to go with me she loves the hunt every time she finds one she looks me and says this will look good in your collection i am so proud that she loves my hobby and loves to help me hunt for the nice old vintage ones and she is like me she dont care for the newer ones unless its a gec which is the best new knives being made today

bd8.. That is sweet.. My son wants nothing to do with my knife passion but my daughter shares mine!! We toured the CASE factory a few weeks ago and then spent some time talking with upper management there and she had a ball.. In Dec she graduated from Pitt and asked for a pearl-damascus CASE knife as a grad gift.. Well you know I had to get something!! She walks in April so thats when she will get her knife!! I cant wait to see her eyes light up when I give it to her!! Every time I get some thing new, she claims it right away.. John ::tu::
