Thanks Tim, I don't remember ever coming across a sleeveboard in the cracked ice shell handles. That's another pattern to watch for. It never fails, just when I think I have one in every pattern, another one shows up. But that's what keeps it interesting.
Again, nice finds. Be sure to show off an after pic when ya get 'em cleaned up.

Hey WB, they made a bunch of 'em. If you look on my Hammer Card with the Orange striped barlow on it, you'll see a t least 6 of them. 2 with shields even.

Hey Perry, none in cracked ice. (or whatever the official name you guys use) I did know the pattern existed, I think I might have 1 or 2 in different colors. But, still not sure if the C/I was ever made in the Imperial/Hammer Brand line. Do you have one? I'd love to see it!

Got one today it's quite like a Camillus TL-29 but only in build .Same old Iron worker gave it to me hard to make out the tang stamp. I posted it in the Q+A thread .any help would be greatly apreciated THANX, On the pad of paper are what I could make out on the tang

Well, I just got one in a odd pattern too. At least it's unusual to me. What is this pattern called?
I guess I should check my books.
This is a pretty used up New York Hammer, but I just couldn't let it get by me. It's so sweet..... and old.
It's 2 7/8" long.

This came today. Camillus #80 - 1960 to 1976 Deluxe Carpenters Whittler
Milled liners, front and back (sparingly on the back)
Nickel Silver bolsters, liners and pins (both pivot pins and scale pins)

Blades are a little rough but this is the first #80 pattern I've seen. It's a #72 but dressed up a little more fancy (ergo the 'Deluxe' in the name). At this point, I'm reasonably certain they were only made in the 1960's (possibly the 1950's also) and maybe in the very early 1970's. The #80 pattern is in the 1965 catalog but not in the bookend catalogs from 1948 and 1972. Anyone else have one?

Any white looking stuff on the handles is Mothers that didn't buff off.

Johnnie, Ya-- saddlehorn is what I was trying to think of. It is a little one though.
Perry, there were only 11 bids on that knife. Had the blades been in better shape there would undoubtedly been more interest. That's why I can afford some of these. I may have over paid as it is but she's mine.
