Just added a nice little MOP sleeveboard lobster to the collection. The inside of the bottom attachment is a nail file and the outside is nicely decorated. Has milled brass liners too. Very classy. Made by J Howarth. Stainless steel blades so I'm thinking 1930s but maybe after the war. Hard to say. :) s-k

Wow SK that is one pretty piece of pearl for being 75 years old, very impressive and a great looking knife. Do you know if the file work came afterward or was that original from the factory, either way you picked up another beauty.. 8)

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks everyone for the kind responses. You want to hire her for the night justold  Maybe I should start a knife escort agency ::doh:: I believe the file work was done before leaving the works. There was a market for these among the well to do and special orders were not uncommon. :) s-k
