Browsing through my albums and thought to share a few of my earlier attempts with you....

A small friction folder, blade in "forge finish" high carbon steel:



And with Wild Olive scales:



This design proved quite popular!!


A big Hunter - this one was made from 5mm (1/5th) thick N690. African Black Chacate handle with a push tang:







Another Friction Folder:



Nice and flat for back pocket carry. Steel is 2.2mm D2.


Warthog tusk and O1 "pruner"





A utility knife, forge finish and Paduak scales:

This guy wanted an "intimidating" folder based loosely on a straight razor:


He says he's well satisfied!!

A pocket rocket Wharny in carbon fibre. Chunky little knife with 3mm (1/8th) brass liners:

Thanks Dale - a very apt description - I love knives and the fact that after many centuries it is still man's most basic and effective tool and we've found nothing to effectively replace it with. So to me, a knife must work and I design accordingly. I am always striving to improve quality, fit, finish etc - but it will remain a working knife, even if it carries an investment grade finish.

Thanks Johnnie, it is one of my favorites too - the kind of knife that when you pull it out to cut something with, people unconsciously take half a step back and start calling you "sir"...
