8)Yeah! Glenn, I got real Lucky! ::tu:: I think Bodemeister could have Won that race if He hadn't tried setting the Pace, because he Plumb Ran Out of Gas at the end! My Brother in Law works at Santa Anita so I had him Bet $100 to Win on I'll Have Another. At (15 to 1) I got a Nice Little Pay Day! ::ds::

8) I have sort of had this little Tradition of betting $100 on the Kentucky Derby every year, since I was a Young Man. Living so close to Santa Anita Race Track I have always had a Great Love for the Ponies! What's interesting is, this is the First Year in 138 Years, that a Horse in the #19 Post Position has ever Won the Race! ::tu::

8) I Hope he can and I will be Rooting for him ::tu:: because we Have not had a Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978. But you know how it usually goes every year, the horse who came in second in the Derby Wins the Preakness and then some other long distance running horse wins the Belmont! ::shrug:: I think I'll Have Another, has the stamina to win the Belmont, so the Preakness being the shortest race of the 3 will be the real test.
