Stag custom folder

Post by jkf96a »

This is my 9th folding knife, and the first with soldered bolsters. Spent the day on it ang got it finished up. This one worked out fairly nice, without too many snags. I read a few tutorials, watched a few you tube videos, and the bolsters went on without a hitch. The blade and spring were patterned after a Camillus TL 29 that I took apart. The knife is CM154 at 61 RC. Liners are 410, bolsters and pins 416. Handle is some nice gnarly sambar. Spring is flush at all three positions and snaps nicely. Closed length 3 7/8. Enjoy the pics :)

May be for sale later, if my mailing list doesn't buy it. Also, my website has a new look. Check it out.
