Mr. B hope it's okay to piggyback this one in with yours
instead of posting a new eekBay topic.

I notified this seller that his item does not appear to be a genuine
1983-86 Heritage and explained why.
He thanked me for the info but did not alter the title or description.
Nor did he add my comment to the auction as is allowed if seller so chooses.
He has gotten a few more bids and still has a few days to go.

Maybe if he receives a few more inquiries as to authenticity he will withdraw the listing.
Or his true intentions may be made more obvious.
Not that it really matters I guess.
Not in the whole big scheme of things.
But still, it's just not right!(jmho)

In case you have the time but not familiar w/the
'83-86 Heritage particulars....
1. Heritage had smooth bone handles in green, red, or brown.
2. Trapper pattern number was 2941 not H296.
3. Main blade mark side is polished with Everlastingly Sharp logo
4. Reeded edge shield with split date (19Schrade83)
5. Fluted bolsters
6. '83-86 tang has Heritage over Schrade+ over NY USA

They did have some later Heritage models but not of calibre
of '83-86 versions which seller claims his to be.
Think the later versions had brass bolsters ?
Maybe a brass oval shield ???
