Backyard birding

The hops vine is growing over the trellis "room" and about to cover some birdhouses. Hollyhocks are starting to bloom and the purple climatis is going great guns. The sparrows love the houses. At least 3 are occupied and 1 for sure has babies in it.

I've been a casual bird watcher for years. I usually put out two or three feeders during the colder months and it's amazing how many songbirds I get to view each day. One of my feeders is just outside my office window so I can see them feeding any time I take a break.

Looks like you're having quite a bit of success with your "housing project". ::tu::
