The way I understand it is, after a nice enjoyable two day , Sat. and Sun. weekend, when Monday comes, the person does not want to go to work.

I think I can figure out that Monday thing, it's the "work" word I'm having all the trouble with. Does it have anything to do with Spumoni Ice Cream or am I getting it confused with wonderful?

Hey all, "work" is an activity that one has to participate in to get "money" to help support one's habits like eating and paying mortage/rent and sometimes even buying clothes and the occational knife.
A work "break" (lunch for eg.) is the time to consume mass quantities of last nite's leftover bean dish that you stored in an ancient Tupperware container so that you will not pass out before going home and waiting to do it all over again.
Looking forward to 5 days off and consuming vast quantities of food and and an adult beverage or two.
Happy Fourth to all.
Peace,
Liv

Actually WB, it's y'all with the apostrophe taking the place of the 'ou' in you, seein's how y'all is a contraction of 'you all'.whitebuffalo58 wrote:If'n yer gonna talk hillbilly, let's get 'er right. It's ya'll and ma'am. I red me part of'n a buk wunst an' that thar be how they dun it.![]()

Re: Monday's helpfull hint
Jerry my friend, not to be disagreeable, but I believe it's actually derived from "ya" as in "ya know what I mean" and "all". The apostrophe's taking the place of the "a" in "all", and the word "you" seldom comes into play. Stick with me, buddy. I'll learn ya up some proper english yet.
