If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Sustainable Development

Post by Owd Wullie »

Sounds catchy, sounds reasonable, however it is a guarantee for the death of freedom as we know it. It's here, it's being implemented right now. Everybody the planet is under attack from it.
UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development is implemented worldwide to inventory and control all land, all water, all minerals, all plants, all animals, all construction, all means of production, all information, and all human beings in the world. INVENTORY AND CONTROL.
U.N. Agenda 21 cites the affluence of Americans as being a major problem which needs to be corrected. It calls for lowering the standard of living for Americans so that the people in poorer countries will have more, a redistribution of wealth. Although people around the world aspire to achieve the levels of prosperity we have in our country, and will risk their lives to get here, Americans are cast in a very negative light and need to be taken down to a condition closer to average in the world. Only then, they say, will there be social justice which is a cornerstone of the U.N. Agenda 21 plan[
I heard this lady speaking about it on the radio yesterday. Her website spells it out.

Time to wake up and stop this s.... There is no "Switzerland" to retire to in order to get away from it. This is a world wide plan and you're paying for it with your taxes!

Check it out for yourself. It's here and it's growing toward their end game at a faster and faster pace. Spread the word. DO SOMETHING!

It's happening all over our country with the consolidation of local governments and consolidation of services. With the administration we have now, we have no chance at all. Our Nation is dying a painful death.

Then somewhere a grass roots group, who will fight to the death for their freedom, will organize and take back what has been stolen.

And I'll be a volunteer!

This is a bit long, but I think apprpriate for this thread.

"Winston, come into the dining room, it's time to eat," Julia yelled to her husband. "In a minute, honey, it's a tie score," he answered. Actually Winston wasn't very interested in the traditional holiday football game between Detroit and Washington .

Ever since the government passed the Civility in Sports Statute of 2017, outlawing tackle football for its "unseemly violence" and the "bad example it sets for the rest of the world," Winston was far less of a football fan than he used to be. Two-hand touch wasn't nearly as exciting.

Yet it wasn't the game that Winston was uninterested in. It was more the thought of eating another TofuTurkey. Even though it was the best type of VeggieMeat available after the government revised the American Anti-Obesity Act of 2018, adding fowl to the list of federally-forbidden foods, (which already included potatoes, cranberry sauce and mince-meat pie), it wasn't anything like real turkey. And ever since the government officially changed the name of "Thanksgiving Day" to "A National Day of Atonement" in 2020 to officially acknowledge the Pilgrims' historically brutal treatment of Native Americans, the holiday had lost a lot of its luster.

Eating in the dining room was also a bit daunting. The unearthly gleam of government-mandated fluorescent light bulbs made the TofuTurkey look even weirder than it actually was, and the room was always cold. Ever since Congress passed the Power Conservation Act of 2016, mandating all thermostats-which were monitored and controlled by the electric company-be kept at 68 degrees, every room on the north side of the house was barely tolerable throughout the entire winter.

Still, it was good getting together with family. Or at least most of the family. Winston missed his mother, who passed on in October, when she had used up her legal allotment of live-saving medical treatment. He had had many heated conversations with the Regional Health Consortium, spawned when the private insurance market finally went bankrupt, and everyone was forced into the government health care program. And though he demanded she be kept on her treatment, it was a futile effort. "The RHC's resources are limited," explained the government bureaucrat Winston spoke with on the phone. "Your mother received all the benefits to which she was entitled. I'm sorry for your loss."

Ed couldn't make it either. He had forgotten to plug in his electric car last night, the only kind available after the Anti-Fossil Fuel Bill of 2021 outlawed the use of the combustion engines-for everyone but government officials. The fifty mile round trip was about ten miles too far, and Ed didn't want to spend a frosty night on the road somewhere between here and there.

Thankfully, Winston's brother, John, and his wife were flying in. Winston made sure that the dining room chairs had extra cushions for the occasion. No one complained more than John about the pain of sitting down so soon after the government-mandated cavity searches at airports, which severely aggravated his hemorrhoids. Ever since a terrorist successfully smuggled a cavity bomb onto a jetliner, the TSA told Americans the added "inconvenience" was an "absolute necessity" in order to stay "one step ahead of the terrorists." Winston's own body had grown accustomed to such probing ever since the government expanded their scope to just about anywhere a crowd gathered, via Anti-Profiling Act of 2022. That law made it a crime to single out any group or individual for "unequal scrutiny," even when probable cause was involved. Thus, cavity searches at malls, train stations, bus depots, etc., etc., had become almost routine. Almost.

The Supreme Court is reviewing the statute, but most Americans expect a Court composed of six progressives and three conservatives to leave the law intact. "A living Constitution is extremely flexible," said the Court's eldest member, Elena Kagan. " Europe has had laws like this one for years. We should learn from their example," she added.

Believe me what I posted was not a joke; it was not posted in jest nor with levity!
I am totally serious!
Guys, you should always post as if the government is watching because I, (and many others), believe they are!

I have read about Agenda 21 and it scares the daylights out of me to know we have a government that will willingly waltz down this primrose path to our destruction!

but...my point is the spin mongers take a good thing, degrade the terminology...an make it the most offensive behavior one can imagine.

issuing police departments predator drones? devices that see through walls...to catch evildoers....
"if you arent a criminal...why does it bother you?"
how many times over the years everything i own is taken out of my car, thrown in the desert dirt...
and the cops say..."if you have nothing to hide...why get angry"...ever try to get choia thorns out of wool blankets????
isn't that the response every time some liberal raises the point of governmental abuse?
WTF?

isn't this what the "liberals" were excited about in the nixon era...? black bag operations within the united states...

the list has been growing for decades...now here is again...a term taken and perverted to scare people.

When the conservatives do it the liberals get all excited about it, but when they have their man (or woman) in office it is peachy keen with them!

I wish the conservatives would get a bit more excited when the liberals do it!

The Patriot Act was anathema to the liberals when Bush passed it, but Obama can add all sorts of power and usurp even more of our freedoms and the liberals are on the bandwagon singing his praises. And the timid conservatives do nothing.

I opposed the Patriot Act on the principal, when it was first passed. I think it was a bad idea and will always be a bad idea for any person to have so much power.

I agree Craig, except I use an RSV and read it enough to keep the dust off of it.
I read the whole Book; I know how it ends & though it does promise hard times for the Christians the end result is well worth the trouble! ::nod::
