Great finds OH, love the Canoe! I think everybody should have a Case Canoe with the etch in their collection!

I like the Rooster too….really cool shield, does anyone know what that style of badge is called?

Thanks guys! I was looking for a name on that shield too; I found one reference to it as a "dog bone" shield, but don't know if that is slang or "official" (and I don't know who determines "official" either). OH

Ps. Mike, that is my first Canoe and I have been looking around for one with a few features I wanted: a Block shield, dark jigged bone, and the Canoe Etch - got lucky found all three features in this knife.

The dang heat and now rain have stopped all yard sales around here for now. I've trolled the antique mart and nuttin.

There are so many "What's Your Latest New Knife" threads I never know which one to post in so I chose this one since I didn't get the knife in the mail.

Stopped over at my local purveyor of knives this afternoon just to see Tom (the owner and a fellow Marine) and maybe provide a little entertainment for my grandson. There was plenty to see as usual and as always his prices were higher than what I'm used to paying (he has to support a brick & mortar store) but I couldn't leave this one on the shelf. It's a Kershaw 1665OR Packrat with G-10 handles. As I understand it the orange ones are not real common and the Packrat is discontinued. Neat knife with Kershaw's fantastic SpeedSafe opening assisted opening system and in factory condition.

Too lazy to take a picture so I stole this one off eBay. ::shrug:: They all look alike anyway.

That's pretty cool. I'm assuming they're Hubertus style automatics?? If so, is it just the main blade that's automatic?

Its a wreck but it is an Ibberson made knife for Herrods in London at their original address before they took over the whole block.
