Morning fellers. Good to see everyone had a good weekend.
Sorry about the passing of your friend OH.
We had a good weekend too. Actually I had a great weekend. I made one of those trades of a lifetime on a good Browning A5 light twelve. It'll go nicely with my Ithaca 37's I'm a thinking.

Ah yes, the Redneck Riveria - nice place - lots of folks from my area head down to MB (we are about a four drive to MB itself). Dick's Pawn shop on US17 in the No. MB area used to get in a decent amount of old knives, haven't been there in quite a while - its not too far from Bass Pro Shop and my wife's favorite Tanger outlet mall.

Good morning Colonel. Nasty little storm passing through the area as we speak. Lots of rain, thunder and of course lightning. Ever wonder why we say "thunder and lightning" since the lightning comes first and there would be no thunder without it?? We're strange creatures.

Re: First cup!
Sorry to hear about your little pup - you would be absolutely amazed at what a 1500 fps pellet gun will do to small feral animals - I've had issues in the past, don't have any right now! By the way, they aren't "firearms" either; useful with-in the city limits. Just remember S-S-S.
Morning gents (and to our new lady as well!) Getting set to head down to Jacksonville, have a mid-day appointment at Camp Lejeune, then down to Wilmington for the night. Planning to shoot handguns with a buddy at the indoor range there on Gordon Road. Going to tie in a subpanel for my nephew tomorrow morning at his house then head back north to meet my wife at Atlantic Beach tomorrow evening. Probably be a few days before I get back here on-line - BUT, I will be sipping my morning coffee somewhere - you can bet on that!

Sorry about the problems during the night. It is one of the few times when I support immediate euthanism. The '06 might be a little bit of overkill but nothing wrong with a 22 LR, a 25-20 or such. The stout pellet gun might be a better solution as it is not so likely to alert neighbors. You can just bag 'em and drop 'em in the nearest dumpster. Then say nothing.

Re: First cup!
Sounds like real fun in one of my favorite parts of the country. I spent a lot of falls and winters there after the various hurricanes. Some of the nicest people in the country live there. The young Marines are so well disciplined. They sit or stand erect, have great haircuts and they are respectful to other human beings. I always kinda liked Jackonville. On every corner downtown there is a tatto parlor, a pawn shop or two, and a titty bar. What a place!Old Hunter wrote: Morning gents (and to our new lady as well!)
