On every corner downtown there is a tatto parlor, a pawn shop or two, and a titty bar. What a place!

I don't know about Ray but it sure is for a young Marine. Image From what I've been told, J-ville has cleaned up quite a bit over the past 50 years.

Disclaimer: Was stationed at Cherry Point for 10 months but never made it down to experience J-ville first hand.

Thunderstorms again this morning. Supposed to last until after 0600. The rain sure is welcome. Someone said it may not do the corn much good but it's in time to save the soy beans. As my mother used to say, "Thank God for small favors."

Mornin' Scott. Are you just naturally an early riser or is there a purpose to your madness?

My excuse is I'm old and wake up at odd hours of the night all the time. Don't like it but there it is.

It's still early enough here, I think I'm going to try to go back to bed for a while. The monthly NCR Retiree's Breakfast is this morning but that's not until 0900 so I won't miss that.

Hope you have a good day Scott.

Truck loaded with tools and a new toilet! Heading down east to do some repair work - going to stop at Sheetz for that first cup. See you all Sunday night or Monday morning. Won't be doing any knife shopping, but will be doing some knife using.

Old Hunter,
Drive carefully! I have my 1st one poured. Not much going on today. I may photograph some knives and get them ready to go on eBay. Or I may not, who knows. Ain't life great! ::tu::

Last day at the beach today. Just returned from a long walk along the beach with my bride. Early morning and late evening are my favorite times of day for being on the beach. It's been a nice restful vacation and I'm grateful for it.

Have a good one everyone. :)

I am up and reporting for duty! I have my 1st cup poured and I have sipped about half of it. I have kokefm.com on the air and am listening to some of the world's greatest, genuinely old country music. Hard to beat a good cup of coffee and golden oldies on a Saturday morning. ::tu:: :)
