Hey Guys,

If you haven't taken a look at W/H, they make some of the finest factory/customs around. The fit and finish are phenomenal. W/H is creating knives in a factory setting that rival many customs, using all the glitz and glitter. Their knives have won best of show at prestigious events around the country.

Raindrop damascus, MOP handles & thumbstud, blue anodized titainum liners with titanium bolsters.

Does anyone know if WH has factory tours?
I guess I should call them. They are only about 30 miles from where I live.

They sure make nice knives. ::drool::

Thank you Gary.

After I purchased my first W/H knife I said, oh no, this is going to cost me. It was just so darn nice! I'm still very impressed with each one I get.

Here are a few more; these are fossil Walrus Ivory. The second one down appears to have a crack in the material, it's a hair (darn stuff won't stay on my head).

Hi orvet,

I have never asked about factory tours, lucky you being so close. That would be a kick!

Thanks Mitch!

Some people have mutual funds, I have knives. If they won't feed me when I'm old, there's always Walmart.

WH's are beautiful knives, but they are PRODUCTION knives.

Lovely knives here.

I am starting to get the WH itch, and have my first - a older, bone handled spearpoint - on its way. I'd love a carbon fibre one.

They can get overcooked I think - but there's something in there for everyone

Damn TKC, I hope you weren’t holding your breath on this reply!

Thanks for the comments guys.

W/H makes a "custom production" if that makes since. They have the parts made for their knives by numerous suppliers, then assemble, fit and finish them at their own facility in Oregon. They are neither custom nor production. They seem to have gathered quite a following and their knives aren't cheap!

Thanks noddy,

The avatar is a Northwoods Congress, relatively new on the scene. I'm pretty sure Queen makes their knives for them, they do fine job.
Forensicjim would know for sure.

Here are a couple of the Carbon Fiber handled knives you like. I have another carbon T-12 I sometimes carry, it's the perfect pocket size knife, nice and slim.

Take care…………………..

Thanks guys

I don't know what possessed me to take a picture of the "ugly" side of these knives for my files. I'll have to get them out and take pictures of both sides; I should have done that to begin with!
Nearly my entire collection, one side only, dumb!

This is the first one I purchased, after handling it, I was hooked. You have been warned!

Take care..................oops, only have one side Bill...............

Hmm .. I think I might just have taken the concept of jealousy to a totally new threshold! Beautiful knives those, gmusic.

And that Northwoods - I am going to have to track one down. I picked up one of the single blade repro Scagel folders they did. Its wonder of a knife, and that Congress would make a perfect partner to it :)

I can't find it easily on a web search - could you give me a tip as to where it might be? Thanks

Cheers, Gary. I wrote to them - let's see what happens.

I have been lingering on a Hen & Rooster model, a larger one in (I hope) carbon steel. If the Nothwoods guys come up with one, i tlooks like the Hen & Rooster will be heading back to the subs bench before its shot at glory :)
