It does look a mile long! But it handles like a wand. What other gun would weigh in at 5 1/2lbs, with a 30"bbl???
too true!

does your scope have the multi X or German reticle? does it have the dot in the center like this one?

The one I have must be close to 20yrs old, and has a duplex with a .2MOA crosshair, if I remember right. It is a 1" tube also. That illumination would make you a good low light coyote scope! I wonder if mine is actually 4.4-16, although they just called it 4-16 then. I know scope magnifications are never exactly what they are named.

Heres a nice minty S&W model 686 satin stainless steel .357 Combat Magnum with box & all paper work that my son got. Has a 6 inch barrel, target hammer and trigger. It was made in the very early 1980's. Got a great deal on a really sweet revolver. Who couldn't fall in love with that? The picts. are courtesy of the seller.

I love a S&W! Great looker, and shooter too I betcha Aimus.

Here's my ol' model 57 from the late seventies. (just like Clint's mod. 29 only .41 magnum cal.)

I couldn't handle the big target stocks, so I put the smaller Houges on him. A sweet shooter! ::super_happy::

Picked up this Ruger-Case display a while back, don't have any case knives to put in it, but I've got some Ruger's & GEC's.

I'd like to put a new door on it with a Ruger or GEC logo.

We bought the wife a little Ruger LC9 w/ laser this weekend at a gun show in Conroe. Took it to the range for a test run. Shoots pretty nice.....has a rreeeaaallllly long trigger pull. But that's not necessarily a bad thing if you are going to conceal carry it. I wasn't sure how I'd like the laser (I knew she would like it).....but it was surprisingly easy to get used to.

Notice in the last pic - even though it's a little blurry - you can see the gun flash and powder streaks......lucky timing.

Great choice,Unk !!!!__________I got the wife the same pistol and she loves it :) ____she had never shot a pistol,in her 64 years, but had no problem, with the "'Lazer Light's Help"" hitting the target @ 30 paces___the thumb safety, makes her feel, more comfortable with the gun also*** ::tu::

Ruger is making some nice little pocket pistols right now, I put a laser on this .380...makes a compact package.

The S&W .38 bodyguard is one of my favorite's...laser sight on it also.

Last but not least my custom Colt Commander .45, a pistol I'd bet my life on... ::nod::

The Ruger and Smith get carried more in the summer, wearing a coat in the winter I'll pack the .45

Bob,

That's a nice little LCP - I like the grip activated laser you have a little better than the "reach forward and press the switch" type my wife has on her LC9. Also love the .45......one of these days I will own one. ::tear::

Here's the rest of my pistols (I've shown pics of some of these guns before)...I inherited / been passed down/ all these pistols, as well as all except two of my long guns:

Walther PP .32 (1936)
Colt Detective Special .38 (chrome or nickel?) (1977)
Browning Hi Power 9mm (Matte chrome or nickel) (1981)
Colt Model 1877 Thunderer .41 (1903)
Raven pocket pistol .25 (1980s)
High Standard Sport King .22 (1952)
Browning Challenger II .22 (1977)

I was just looking at Unk's picture that captured the muzzle flash when his wife was shooting the little Ruger. A few weeks ago, we took the kids out plinking, and she got this one of a Win 97 16ga, with the hull in the air, and action closed.

Took the wife out this morning to work up a good target load for her new S&W 642. It's a .38 Spec. +P.
(for the curious, the 5 shot group was from 7 yards. - 148 grain hornady BBWC, 3.6 grains Unique powder)

Thanks Johnnie,
The little lady is getting pretty good! She loves the laser on this one.
And to think - she was an "anti-gun city girl" when I met her many years ago!
