Yah, but I reckon Phil's gonna perform above and beyond the call, no matter what rank you give him. ::nod::

That's it then. Meritorious promotion to Sergeant Major.

Note: Just to show you how good he is, that's the first direct Pvt. to SgtMaj promotion in history. If you're gonna go, you might as well go whole hog and break all the rules at once.

Good morning Marine! And good morning to the lady and all the gentlemen here. Working on the first cup now, off for a cheese biscuit at Abram's, and then back to mow the lawn - we actually have a coolish morning here (cool for August at 70f at 0630). I've been working so much on the rental unit down at the coast that I have let the yard here in town get away from me - lot to do this morning.

I'm up and at 'em this morning! ::tu:: Got my first cup about half down and looking forward to the rest of the day. Have a knife club (of sorts) meeting every 1st Saturday. It's at a BBQ joint so will eat a light breakfast this morning.
Everybody stay cool today if you can.

Mornin' Scott. My 40 winks are over and I still feel like I could use 40 more. Got to throw some clean skivvies in a grocery sack though so I'll be ready to go when Linnea gets here. Breakfast is sounding good too.

Good morning boys and girl. Coffee's brewing and I'm trying to get myself woke up. Sunday's my day to spend with my oldest daughter and my now six month old granddaughter. They go to church with us and then usually spend a good part of the afternoon with us. Makes for a good day. :)

Morning gents, I've got the coffee on and my wife is washing the cups (we are at the beach). It's our 35th anniversary today, so we are going to enjoy the coast today and have dinner at one of the famous local establishments.
