May 2007 knife giveaway - Customized by Muskrat Man!

Post by Bryan »

Hello friends :)

This month we have a real treasure to give away. This knife was donated by David Anthony (PA Knives) who sent it to Kaleb Reynolds (Muskrat Man) for some restoration and embellishment. Kaleb donated his time and materials to turn it into a work of art.

Muskrat Man put ebony handles on the knife and pinned them with nickle silver pins. He cleaned it inside and out, put a brushed finish on the blades, and fileworked both springs with vine pattern (make sure to take a close look at that fine work ::tu:: ).

Muskrat Man's usual mark is inscribed inside of the left liner. Kaleb will send the winner a certificate of authenticity as soon as the winner is determined.

I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Be careful with this knife. It is scary sharp. Special thanks to David and Kaleb. Kaleb is is becoming a rising star in custom knives, knife repair, restoration, and embellishment. We highly recommend his services. His email address is [email protected]
more of his works can be viewed here.
