Morning Royal, just sat down and fired up the laptop - got that first sip in, enjoying the aroma at the moment. Sorry about your $1 loss of that Case knife auction (hey, it wasn't me!). I have come to look at those "near misses" on a knife like this; I will never wear out all the knives I own right now, so if I miss one I just have to wait on one of the several million more that are about to be sold! Have a good one, OH

Good morning folks. Can it be Monday again already?

I'm on a knife buying sabatical right now. I have a couple of major bills looming in the not too distant future so knives have to be put on hold for now. Seems like some of the best deals of the year are on ebay while I'm sitting on my hands trying not to click that mouse. ::teary_eyes::

Morning all. Supposed to rain here today. I hate rain. I hope it's stopped by this afternoon so I don't have to drive in it all the way to Round Lake.

Royal -- You could have missed that knife by $20. You just never know what the other fellas top bid was.

My knife buying is on hold until the end of this credit card billing cycle. What with the first falling on Saturday and that Monday being Labor Day, I probably won't be able to crawl back in the saddle until about the 5th of Sept. What if someone snaps up those bargins I have my eye on between now and then? ::mdm::

I agree, good luck. I've been holding off as I'm in the process of selling my condo and buying a house. If I find the rite house before I sell I will be seriously BROKE !

Love to all

Scott, in June and July, I would've gladly traded ya places. Wake up in the morning and it's still 85 degrees and 75% humidity. By lunch it's 104-108 and 85% humidity. It was like that for almost 60 days straight! Trees are dead, grass is all dead, pavements buckling in spots. All time hottest July on record, 13 new record highs, plus the longest running consecutive days at 100 or above! We've had some pretty nasty summers before, but this one tops 'em all!! I just hope winter doesn't follow suit in the opposite direction!! ::facepalm::

WB

P.S. and to top it all off, we've had less then a 1/2" of rain in the past 75 days!

I wouldn't mind at all, Phil but I have an appointment to get a haircut at 0800 and I'm afraid I'll be late.

If I'm up, everyone needs to be up.
