Mornin guys! Got my 1st cup cooled down to where I can sip it and boy, does it taste good. The computer weather says it is 77 here this morning but the humidity sure makes it feel hotter. It'll be another good day to stay inside under the A/C.
Hope you all have a good day today! ::tu::

69 deg right now with a predicted high of 79. According to the weather radar, the rain we're supposed to have until 1400 today is rolling in and should start any minute. You can bet Cousin Roy (old neighbor, not a relative) and I will be four wheelin' it to breakfast this morning. The other two are permanent four wheelers.

Wishing everyone a splendid day.

Morning Royal, and anyone else who is up - sipping that first cup, waiting for daylight so I can finish mowing the yard, got most of it done after supper last night. I was looking at a Case Sodbuster Jr. in the pawnshop yesterday - they are neat looking knives - post a picture when yours comes in.

Good morning all. Full day ahead of me today.

Got a meeting this morning with my preacher and the director of the local nursing home. We are trying to get a bus ministry started so we can transport some of the nursing home residents to church service on Sunday mornings. The church has one of those vans with the wheelchair lift to use.

After that I'm working all day then have to man the ticket table for the football game this evening. High school football "kicks off" tonight. Way too early IMO.

Have a good one!

Just finished reading the local paper - it came with the annual Pigskin Preview section - with one college team (ECU in C-USA) and six county high schools we get plenty of football action here.

I've been up for a while and got my 1st cup nearly down. Listening to the 'Golden Oldies' on KOKEFM.com They are playing some dandy old country music that I really enjoy.
We have a chance for some rain today and boy am I ready.
Hope everyone here has the best of days! ::tu::

Morning gents - already been out and come back home. Sipping the coffee and preparing to head out into the yard for some yard work - we are having an August "Cool Spell" right now (high in the mid 80's) and I am sure enjoying mornings outside. Hope you guys all have a great day.

Jerry,
It is good stuff. Today they are featuring Elvis because of the anniversary of his death last Thursday.
Starting at 8 and going til 11AM on Sunday mornings they play good gospel music.
