This ones been hangin' around for the past couple of weeks. I wondered why there weren't as many grasshoppers this year! 
Come to think of it, I havn't seen the cat around for the past few days.

Ever seen a 3' long Garter Snake? This ones been hangin' around for the past couple of weeks. I wondered why there weren't as many grasshoppers this year!
Come to think of it, I havn't seen the cat around for the past few days.

Hey Glenn, you might wanna watch, garter snakes do burrow! 
This ones got itself a nice little tunnel that runs under the skirting on our deck. They're harmless, but i'm not real fond of it's fondness for sticking around. I keep having visions of it finding it's way into the house, and my wifes reaction to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
Actually, i've been there and done that with a black snake some years ago. NOT a pretty sight!! Still can't figure out her reasoning that somehow that incident was my fault.
