I think this is a CASE XX 63055 Rough Black. Only measures 3-3/8 closed and my reference material shows that pattern at 3-1/2". It appears the clip blade was standard so not a "1-/2" in the model number if it is an 055 frame. No model stamp. If it is not a 55 frame, what is it? Thanks for the help. Jerry

It's not the first Tested Era knife I've seen that was 1/8" off from specs. You can blame it whoever was in the hafting dept the day that one was made.

It is an 055. Bob is correct, minor length variations are not uncommon.

Thanks for the input Bob and Steve. Best I could tell I had the pattern correct but the length threw me off. Good to know that length may vary abit for future identification.
