A cool diversity of music posted here. I grew up listening to the old school stuff like most of what has been posted here. Then around the millennium I started branching out into the newer age stuff, 3 doors down, metallica, nickelback, ect. My most recent favorites are shamans harvest and paramore. I first heard paramore a few years ago but never paid them much attention, I guess they would be classified more as punk rock in most cases; I'm really not sure. But I've been watching some of their music videos and listening to some of their stuff on youtube and liked the upbeatness of most of their songs so ordered a couple of their CD's. Besides having great sound and beat Hayley Williams is gorgeous despite her choice of unique hair colors haha.

No problem as far as I can tell. Unk's Simple Man video came up fine. I have had trouble a time or two getting ones I was posting to load properly. I did 'em the same way as i've done others that loaded up fine, but for some reason there seems to be an occasional glitch.

I wish it were that simple. When loading the page, IE says, "Done, but with errors on page." I have a couple of things to try but if you guys are not having problems, it appears it's internal here.

I had some problems like that a while back. Talked to my sisters computer guy. He suggested downloading a free "registry repair" and "disk speed up" from http://www.glarysoft.com/#. He's a reliable pc guy and shoots straight about what stuff really works and is safe to use. After downloading and running both as well as deleting my "temp files", "prefetch" and emptying my recycle bin (which I had forgotten to do for several months) the problem is solved and my laptop cruises like new now. I use Norton 360 and thought it did all of this in a complete system scan but as it turned out it must not? I am using a newer laptop with windows 7 but I would think that this will work on any windows based system, not sure about a mac?

Not sure if this will help your situation, but it might be worth a try

A piece of personal history, the amp John refers to just before Suzy Q was built in my hometown by Kustom Electronics. My best friends dad was the general manager. We used to raid their scrap bins for all the glitter nahgahyde we could get our hands on. Every bicycle seat and sissy bar I had back then was covered in that stuff! We were the coolest kids on the block!!
My brother still has his Kustom stack with 4-12 cabinet covered in smoke glitter tuck and roll. He bought it while working there in the late 60's.

Here's the story of the Sergeant.

Sgt. Charles Stuart MacKenzie

Sgt. Charles Stuart MacKenzie went to fight in France during World War I and was shot in the shoulder. The military sent him home to Scotland for treatment, where the surgeon wanted to amputate his arm. Sgt. MacKenzie refused, stating that he had to go back to his men. While recuperating in the hospital, he was asked what it was like to kill "the Hun" (as the Germans were called then). He replied, "what a waste of a fine body of men". His last picture, with him in uniform, was taken on the steps of the hospital. This picture hung in his home above the fireplace. Upon his return to the front, he and his men were engaged in fixed bayonet combat. The composer says,
“ To the best of my knowledge, and taken from reports of the returning soldiers, one of his close friends fell, badly wounded. Charles stood his ground and fought until he was overcome and died from bayonet wounds. On that day, my great grandmother and my grandmother were sitting at the fire when the picture fell from the wall. My great grandmother looked, and said to my grandmother "Oh, my bonnie Charlie's dead". Sure enough a few days passed, and the local policeman brought the news - that Sgt. Charles Stuart MacKenzie had been killed in action. This same picture now hangs above my fireplace. A few years back my wife Christine died of cancer, and in my grief I looked at his picture to ask what gave him the strength to go on. It was then, in my mind, that I saw him lying on the field and wondered what his final thoughts were. The words and music just appeared into my head. I believe the men and woman like yourself who are prepared to stand their ground for their family - for their friends - and for their country; deserve to be remembered, respected and honoured. "Sgt. MacKenzie", is my very small tribute to them. After "Sgt. MacKenzie" was first released on our Tried and True CD album in 2000, a copy of the song made its way to the hands of Hollywood director, Randall Wallace and actor Mel Gibson. Immediately they both agreed that "Sgt. MacKenzie" should feature prominently in their upcoming movie We Were Soldiers. The rest, as they say - is history!
