This is going to be fun!!!Little do they know philco works for about 30 information gathering companies…….. ::ROLFL:: but really ummm… I have to say, what something is worth in the books and what it is worth on the net/street can be two different things entirely …I mean you can get Quite the hunk of chinese stag or bone for $50 but, I have some old lil pen knives that I think are valued more than $50…..Now from what little I've gathered Big bone knives and of course big fat gnarly bumpy stag is always popular amongst the masses here on AAPK And that counts me in too…but What the books/eBay says is a $50 value and what is a $50 value to each individual are possibly worlds apart…I have knives that to me in the near future are going to be worth $70-$100 soon…but right now they might be fetching $43-$47…long story short there should be less stress on dollar amount give or take $5-$10 bucks…just my thoughts….I mean old japanese cutlery worth $100 to some is spit in the bucket for others as far as worth goes =$$$ …This is going to be fun Hope for the Best and expect the Worst…all knives should obviously have monitary value but most important, originality and creative thought towards the goal….Sacrifice if you may…but not a round table where you just lump off a semi- decent pocket knife because you happen to have one that "FALLS in the RANGE"….what is that a broken handled Case xx USA with 95% blade left ??? To the right guy thats heavenly to the guy who was expecting sweet ready to go be a knife, well, that thrill probably won't be there….gotta love the thrill and suspense….just a few of my thoughts …..DJ….. :D

Well, we just have to trust the judgement of our fellow members. I do or I wouldn't have signed up.

No offense intended. Just my thoughts. ::handshake::

I can't do that Monk. If I send one I would feel good about receiving, I won't be able to let it go.

i just hope that people who live outside the usa, like iron hoarder, only one i can think of at the moment that is signed up, uses their usa address for shipping. i would hate to see overpricing on the postage or any weapons law for that particular country. ::tu::
but i also realize that far and abroad knifers have the same problem with who they have to send a knife to. only no restrictions, but higher postage. even trevor up there in the yukon.
i don't know if anyone else thought about that factor or not, my ways and means at the moment are below poor level. ::facepalm::
but knives,,,,,,that i have ::tu::

Is it the 30th yet ....... I've got a knife waiting to be boxed up and sent to a GOOD home. Hopefully the new owner will send me pics from time to time and tell me how the knife is doing, LOL.
