::hmm:: Maybe some steel toe house slippers would help Monk.

Rainy ole morning here. My little dog set a new record for quickest trip outside and back when it thundered. She decided right there and then her business outdoors was completed.

Have a good one. Monk I hope your day improves.

I wake up late, get here late, and all hell is breaking loose - MONK, get up off the floor! I hope you regain your sense of balance. Had a great Friends of NRA banquet last night - just three people short of 500 attendees - a record for eastern NC. I left about midnight, the accountants were still hard at work, but I know we set a record on raising money - people who understand the Right to keep and bear arms are very worried about this upcoming election. Ok, now back to normal - the coffee is good this morning.

Mornin' guys. There is a lot of excitement out there this morning. Nothing much going on here. I slept in. It is supposed to start raining here today and everyone here is looking forward to that.
Monk, be careful out there! I hope we all have a great day! ::tu::

Mornin' boys.
I usually don't get up until 6 or 6:30, but since my stepdaughters car is broke down, I have been getting up at 4:30 to take her to work. She has today off, so I set the alarm for 6:30. I woke up right on cue at 4:23, just like I was supposed to. ::shrug:: ::dang:: ::dang::

I had breakfast already & I am on my second Diet Mt Dew already.
I don't drink coffee much anymore (Diet Dew has more caffeine).

I've had a little cold that started night before last (maybe caused by the flu shot on Monday?) so I took a shot of Nyquil last night. Slept straight through from 10:30 until 8:00 this morning. First time in I don't know when. That NyQuil's some good stuff.

BUT

I missed all the good stuff here. I haven't been up long enough to get into any trouble.

Monk -- What the heck you doin' boy, tryin' to kill yourself? You're not old enough to be pulln' stuff like that.

Colonel -- Congratulations on the fund raiser. It's important work you do.

Dale -- That old internal clock's a killer.

Ray -- Better that not much is going on than to start your day the Monk way.

T.J., Phil, Scott -- Morinng all

We may have a new saying on AAPK. "Have a good day. I hope it's not a Monk day."

You weren't here, so I simply didn't mention I dedicated that half to you Jerry! I also dedicated a half to Royal, a half to Dale, a half to Phil, a half to ... well, all the regulars here. I halved that biscuit up so many times I finally just ate it - and it was good too!!
