TL- 29 Redo

Here is a TL-29 that I modified. The scales are black ink Cocobo.

I like that redo! One day I may get past the accumulation stage and venture into deeper water.

By the way, had dinner at Hogansville on the 28th, passin' through on the way to Lawrenceville from Florida Panhandle.

Good job. I like the large pins and the knives look better with bottom bolsters.

Thank's TreeFarmer, I started out accumulating and eventually dove in and started cleaning and attempting repairs and modifications on some of them, it's addicting once you start.

Were did you eat Rogers BBQ or one of the fast food joints?

Plas62, I think it was the 1st place on the right side of the road, Wendys, I think. Didn't have time to root around and find a good local place, in a hurry to see our grandsons in Lawrencville. I'm a country boy and Atlanta traffic makes my knuckles turn white. If we aren't in a hurry we go up throught the middle of the state and come out west of Athens and work our way back on 316 toward the kids house. Takes more time but keeps my blood pressure down.

By the way I checked out the Klien that you reworked, it 's also a beauty! Treefarmer

It looks good!
I like working with cocobolo, though it makes my nose run when I first start sanding it.
I am told some folks are highly allergic to cocobolo.
I really like the way your cocobolo looks when it is finished!

Orvet - The cocobolo I used was DymmondWood black ink cocobolo from Jantz, it appears to be some type laminate, smells bad when sanding it, but is pretty easy to work with.
