OFF a TESTED 47 fit on a TESTED RAT??
the lenghts and pin patterns look same??
in other words completely wreck the 47 to
make whole the RAT

The 1/8" was an extreme example, but I've run into smaller ones that have caused as much trouble. After the center pin is removed, the handle pins can be punched out from the back side using a very small punch that will fit through the pin holes on the other side. This is the only safe way I've fround to remove scales that are as old as those. It's just that I've seen two examples of the same exact model of knife from the Tested Era NOT have interchangeable parts and thought you'd like to know that this is a possibility. They may also fit perfectly and I hope they do. I was just suggesting a method to see if they were indeed exact.MrBlister wrote:Bob.. as i roll them side to side and eyeball it...
