Excellent link!! My first wife had a great uncle that was very much like that--I met the guy in 81--we've often wondered what happened to his collection--his pole barn had 4 or 5 additions and was full and he claimed everything would run all unrestored except his Harley parade bike think it was a 1917 if I remeber right--the day I met him he was gettin it ready for the Labor Day parade in Ventura, Ca.--this old guy had a huge azz walk-in vault he salvaged out of a bank that sat in the back yard that was full of vintage plated parts--99 percent of Howard's collection was pre WWII

I watched all the videos. Although I'm not a bike guy, I was fascinated with the history of all the stuff. It was like opening a time capsule.

I liked how most of the bikes started up with only a little tinkering. Try doing that with machinery nowadays that has been sitting for a long time.
