Show Us Your Camillus Knives!

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Wow! A Senator with Nu-Pearl handles that looks like it just came out of the box, brand new. Very nice. For some reason, I like Camillis's Senator pattern.

"Nu-Pearl" was what Camillus called it. It's Celluloid so keep an eye on it for any signs of outgassing.

Here is a knife I won on ebay.
The seller (unbeknown to me) was Gino, our AAPK Moderator.
Gino emailed me and told me not to pay for the knife, as it was a gift.

Since I got it I have been carrying and using it.
It fits very nicely in the watch pocket of jeans or Carhartt shorts.
I an REALLY liking this knife! Thanks Gino! ::tu:: ::tu::

Nice little peanut Orvet. I'm working on getting one of those myself. It's quite unusual to see a full underline knife with genuine bone handles.

Here is a new one for me.
A 1989 Camillus commemorating the 200th Anniversary of George Washington's inauguration.
It came new in the box with papers including a registration certificate.

I think the handles are cast pewter.
The registration certificate was for a wood handled knife with a pewter medallion.
So now there is another version I have to find! ::dang:: ::ds:: ::ds::
