I was expecting something in the mail today (and yes I got it too) but it sure as hell wasn't this. INCOMING! HIT THE HOLES.

Got this package from Mike today and couldn't figure out what it could be or why it was coming to me. Turns out Mike had a spare Buck 286 Bantam BHW he didn't know what to do with and since I've been on an ORANGE kick lately, he sent it to me.

Glad to see my coordinates were dialed in correctly, and I scored a direct hit! Hope the collateral damage was held to a minimum!
Looks like I was able to score a hit in two areas with one shot...one for the knife accumulation and another for the Corps accumulation...very good.
I figured you'd appreciate them both, glad to see I was not mistaken!
I've got alot of respect for ya Jarhead, and what you've done for country and Corps, best to ya!

Let me apologize for the delay in getting this posted, but my job has taken up too much of my time here of late, leaving me unable to get pictures taken for this post until now. I got double bombed on Wednesday. I returned home to find two packages in the mailbox.

The first package contained a really cool little all steel Utica jack knife and a goodie bag from Tripple F (aka Scott). The knife is slender and is nearly undetectable once I slide it into my pocket. Both blades have great spring tension and snap closed with authority. I checked the metal scales with a magnent and it was love at first sight so I'm pretty confident they are stainless steel. The blades appear to be carbon steel and I can't wait to put a keen edge on them and put that baby through its paces.
Also included were a few office supplies Scott threw in for good measure. I'm always needing a pen that writes or a sticky note pad so those items were much appreciated as well.

The second package was from our friend ROCKY1122. It contained enough bubble wrap to keep my knife store running for a couple of weeks and one sweet little orange bone Schatt & Morgan whittler NIB. I was stunned. What a beautiful little knife! That one's going in the too pretty to pack pile. Rocky had told me he was sending out a little thank you for my help in posting the names and numbers on he October knife giveaway. I sure never expected anything so nice.

To both of these fine gentlemen I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation. They both personify what makes AAPK my favorite place to hang out. This site is a better place because of these two men and I want to publicly thank each of them for their generosity and freindship.
