Help with age of this knife. note presto-lite key.

Well I'm assuming that's a large equal end scout knife, which was in the catalog from at least the early twenties on up until about 1940.

Your tang stamp suggests (according to some researchers) that your knife was made after WWI. The acetylene lamps on cars winked out before 1930. And your jigging is rather early. So....

Please post pictures of the whole knife, that might help in further dating it.
Besides we just like to look at old knives.

Dale, a couple pictures. Master has a trace of etch left, "Everybodys Companion" I think.
I would guess the knife was made around WW1.

Definitely solid 1920's.

That pattern would almost seem more appropriate for a horse drawn coach or buggy than for an automobile given that it has a leather punch.
The Presto Lite was horse drawn carriage technology adapted to the early autos, if I recall correctly.
Does anyone know for certain on that?
