Juast some a thoughts.

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Check out the 4th post down in this thread

http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kni ... 27#p221127

Bacon Lover= Otto, or his daughter? You decide. I really don`t care :x

Enough is enough!, whoever they are, from here on out any trouble makers on this board are going to be banned. There is a new warning system now in place, at the first sign of any trouble the forum member will be warned after 3 warnings you are subject to banning from this site.

The Moderators and Administrators have more important things to accomplish to make this a better site to visit, than allowing this to continue.

Thank You.

Well,I guess that I should have gone straight to Bryan...or a Mod with the info.....but I didn't. ::facepalm::

I personally do not care to be a member of a knife forum who would let someone who has duped other members.. simply change their username and to be allowed "possibly" to do it again.

Johhnie,
What do you mean? Wont it be a little hard for anyone to guarantee that someone cant come back under a different name after being banned? Or coming back with multiple accounts, just to stir the pot. A couple instances come to mind...

I hereby nominate JR as official AAPK detective and watchdog. ::tu::

I'm not understanding what you're saying either, Johnnie.

The bacon lover account was created with a different email address & IP Address than those linked to Oman's. How could we have linked the two & prevented BL from registering?

I don't know all the details, but I am not yet convinced they are even the same person. I'm guessing they may be friends or something. ::shrug::

It's about freakin' time.
There was more trouble rolling around on the board and in PM's and nobody was doing a dad-gum thing. One of the threads where I got slashed, simply got closed.....I was stunned.
Then another member decides to take a LOA because of the turmoil.

It was horse pucky I'm tellin' ya....horse pucky.

The second there's trouble.....ZAP 'em. Bingo. Bammo. History.

Well,I guess the saying is true.."you can lead a horse to water..but you can't make him drink!!" ...Like I said..I should have taken my info to Bryan or a Mod first. :|
But instead I pm'd TJ..who came up with more evidence..and actually got Philco involved. Who intern must have thought there was some validity to it. ::nod:: ..instead of threatening to ban us!! ::disgust::

Oh..Mark...do you think that I would actually attack someone or allow a member to be attacked without evidence??...If you had been friends with Otto on FB, as I WAS...you would have figured it out also. If you were so interested, why didn't you pm me?....Oh thats right..its much safer to follow Bryan & Mods isn't it?.........sorry,I personally have never been good at following others..always been a point Man myself. ::smirk::

BTW....Otto doesn't live in Maine....Massachusetts!!!..check the IP address against that. ::hmm:: ...here goes that Horse thing again. ::facepalm::

Well, hang on a second. I know you are frustrated with the situation as we all are, but AAPK is a trusting group, and much more civilized and has way fewer problems than many boards on the world wide interwebs. There are technical safeguards in place to deal with banned members with ip addresses and the such, but folk can get around that. Just like any community, there are going to be idjits and it is not just the Mods responsibility to control and review every post. We all have a stake in this, and we all need to be willing to be aware of potentially odd posts and posters, but not throw it all out due to one goober.

AAPK is a heck of a forum with few issues, and as long as we pay a little attention, just like in real life, we can keep it that way.

JR,
I meant no harm to you buddy. Im on your side..
I get that way when Im frustrated too. ::handshake::
As soon as someone said it, it became so clear to me. There is no doubt in my mind, I was arguing with Otto and no one else. Funny thing is, when I went to put BL on the ignore list, I also put Oman on it just for safe keeping, even though I hadnt heard from him in awhile! Crazy huh.

ps. I have never been much of a follower either. And actually shy away from safe. :D

Well doggone. Ms. Olivia/Otto is gone and the dust & feathers are still flying, while he/she sits there snickering up his/her sleeve at all the trouble he/she has caused. Individuals like that feed off bickering and controversy. Best way to cut 'em off at the knees is ignore them. They just can't stand to be ignored. ::sotb::

I just got off the phone with Dimitri (Miller Bros.) ....We had a very nice conversation about this thread...and many other things. :D
When Dimitri talked about "Trouble Makers" I assumed that I was being tossed in that pile as well (can't understand why)  ...and that also nothing was going to be done about this whole BL charade. :| ...I was wrong!! ::facepalm:: ....and I apologize for even thinking this. ...it was dealt with in a very fast & professional way. ::tu::
Also...I agree with the 3 strikes your out policy. ::nod::

Again..I would like to apologize to all... for my rash judgements & posts!! ::handshake::
