Buck I'm tempted to put that one of mine in my pocket. I'm sure the blade steel is excellent.

1977' Blue Scroll

1996' MOP. First year with the shield on MOP as I understand. SN 032 on upper bolster. Not sure the story on this knife as I can't find in my books.

I do not recall ever seeing this thread before. Thanks for starting it, Phil: and for waking it up, Charlie. A lot of great knives posted here. One thing that I note is that every knife posted seems to be never carried and never sharpened. Does anyone carry a canoe? I do not, but I only own one canoe: this Parker. It is a good size for carry and I like the blade assortment, just never got around to adding it to the EDC rotation.

I try to collect mint and unused canoes but I have a few that I carry.

These ones have seen some pocket time.....

My only canoe(bottom knife in picture);a KA-BAR stag in a smaller than usual size and no shield.Got it years ago and never really carried it because it was too hard to easily open.
